The 7 Content Angles

Every content idea has an angle — the perspective from which you tell the story. 38Hub's AI suggests the best angle for each idea. Here's what each one means:

1. Pain Point

Addresses a specific frustration or challenge your audience faces.

Example: "Why your LinkedIn posts get zero engagement (and the one change that fixes it)"

2. Framework

Teaches a repeatable system, model, or process.

Example: "The 3-2-1 Content Framework: 3 ideas, 2 drafts, 1 published piece per day"

3. Build in Public

Shows behind-the-scenes of something being built or created.

Example: "I built a $10K/month newsletter in 6 months — here's exactly how"

4. Question

Poses a thought-provoking question or answers a common one.

Example: "Is long-form content dead in 2026? Here's what the data says"

5. Hot Take / Opinion

A strong or contrarian perspective that sparks discussion.

Example: "Unpopular opinion: You don't need a content calendar. Here's what you need instead."

6. Lesson Learned

A lesson from something that went wrong or a mistake made.

Example: "I wasted 6 months creating content nobody wanted. The lesson changed everything."

7. Trend / News

Reacts to something happening right now.

Example: "Google just changed their algorithm again — here's what it means for your content strategy"

Choosing the Right Angle

AI suggests an angle, but you can change it. Some ideas work better with different angles. A good test: try cooking the same idea with two different angles and see which output resonates more.
